Sister Pamela, was initiated into the Order of the Eastern Star on January 17, 1969, into El Paso Chapter #4, El Paso, TX. She was raised an Army Brat and traveled all over the U.S.A. and Germany; born in Munich, Germany. Her father and grandfather were both 50 year Master Masons. She was initiated into the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls, in Munich, Germany, and continued on in El Paso. She married Norman J. Mayne Jr. in June 1969, in El Paso, daughter Dawn was born there, family moved to Los Alamos, NM in May 1974, she has been a member of Los Alamos Chapter #63 for 35 years. She & Norman also have a son Todd, born in Los Alamos. The family has been growing by leaps and bounds through the years. Dawn lives in Carrollton, TX with her 3 children, Paige, Jake and Samantha; Todd and Shannon have 3 children, Isabelle, Sophia and Hudson of Renton, WA. She is serving as Worthy Matron for the third time this year, plus numerous other offices. She was Mother Advisor for Los Alamos Assembly #36 and served several years on New Mexico Grand Assembly State Executive Board. She has a love for life and enjoys quilting, hiking, mountain biking, actually anything that keeps one young.
