Sister Gayle Smith was initiated on election night in 1989 into Adah Chapter #5. She was Worthy Matron of Adah Chapter during their centennial year in 1993-94. Sister Gayle served as Worthy Grand Matron 2005-2006. She was married for 29 plus years to Brother Jim Smith. Sister Gayle retired with 35 years of teaching. She taught at Los Lunas Middle School from 1979 until her retirement. Gayle has also worked with the New Mexico Grand Assembly for several years. She has been our Registration and Meals person and does a great job. Sister Gayle is very talented and likes to paint, do cross-stitch, beadwork, read and likes computers.
