Brother Paul is a native New Mexican having been born in Gallup, New Mexico.  Paul moved to Las Cruces at the young age of 6 weeks.  He has been married 40 years to Diana and they have two daughters, Annette Youngren and Judy Holbrook and two grandchildren.  Paul retired in May 2009  from over the road truck driving having driven for 14 years.  He also worked as a Recycling Specialist for Reynolds Aluminum Recycling for 16 years.  He is currently driving a school bus part time.

Paul is a 24 year member of Las Cruces Chapter #20 and is a dual member of Renick Chapter #37.  He served as Worthy Patron in Las Cruces in 1993-1994 and in Renick #37 in 2000-2001 and 2002-2003.  He is currently Associate Patron in Renick Chapter.  Paul is a 25 year member of Jornada Lodge #70 and a member of Scottish Rite, Valley of Las Cruces.

Paul belongs to St. Paul's United Methodist Church where he is active in the Local Missions Ministry and the "Here it is!" Sunday School Class.  He received the Grand Cross of Color in the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls.  Paul also was active in the Rio Grande Girl Scout Council and was a coach for the a girls softball team.
