Georgetown Chapter held installation of officers on Saturday, September 18th. It was a lovely evening together, only our second time back together face-to-face for almost a year and half due to the pandemic. The moon was full and friendship filled the Mimbres Valley.

Worthy Matron, Donnie Forman, who will be 91 this month, and Worthy Patron, Darwin Bleak, who is 92, are taking on a third term. The members of Georgetown are so proud of Donnie and Darwin and thank them for not only serving as WM and WP through the pandemic, but continuing for another term as we get back to a "new normal." What times have been had through the years, since Georgetown's charter date March 30, 1893. We celebrate the new year and thank the Lord for chance to assemble here again.

The evening began with a Mimbre's Lodge meeting, with Worshipful Master, Dave Fischer. Members are so appreciative of all of Dave's work this past year and half on the lodge building, storage building, well, and grounds. Tremendous work has been completed and a HUGE thanks is extended to all who made that possible, especially Dave. With the historic building being over a 100 years old, it was in need of some TLC.

After the lodge meeting, a homestyle buffet dinner was held. It was great to see new member faces and some others who are interested in joining attend our fellowship dinner. After dinner, chapter was help. Georgetown's meeting was made complete with visiting OES members who helped with the evening's meeting and installation.

Installing officers included: Sabra Humphrey, PGM; Installing Secretary, Sabrina Pack, GC; Installing Marshal, Bob Bradshaw, GS; Installing Chaplain, Sue Fischer, Grand Martha. Georgetown Officers for the 2021-22 term include: Donnie Forman-WM, Darwin Bleak-WM Becky Rice-AM, Dave Pack-AP Marilyn Page-C; Rosie Griggs-AC Sabra Humhrey-Sec.; Sabrina Pack-Teas. Serina Pack-Organist Gene Stailey-Chaplain; Lucia Smith-Marshal Adah-Heidi Archuleta Ruth-Barbara Schaffer Esther-Siri Kalsa Martha-Rene Carkin Electa-Kay Stailey Warder-Loreta Matthew; Sentinel-Olettia Blevins
